4th St. Adds Pleasant Storage Room at Site of Former Saba

Like Rocky Balboa said to Paulie when asked what the attraction was to his homely sister Adrian: “We fill gaps.”

Well, a significant gap has been filled next to Cedar Street at the former site of Saba. The theme is again Caribbean (we can sure use another one of those), and it’s called the Pleasant Storage Room (named after a popular 1940’s joint in Havana where artistic expats congregated).

I’m getting really good feedback on the food and especially the rum cocktails here from our readers. So that means it’s time for a visit. You know me: never rush in until things settle down.

But I’m happy to see a restaurant at this location. Consider another gap filled.
