An Abundance of Pickles on 290: the Pickle House Opens
When I first drove by the new restaurant The Pickle House a few weeks ago all I could think of was fried pickles. But after a quick look around inside, I realized it was about far more than that.
Yes, there are fried pickles but there’s also chicken and (are you ready for this) it’s fried in an oil made from pickles. There are burgers and sandwiches with a pickle back bite.
Suffice to say the owner is a major pickle enthusiast. I am as well, so I’m waiting to taste all these pickle influenced dishes.
The Pickle House is in the location formerly occupied by Lox, Box & Barrel. I wish them better luck than the first tenant had.
