Aroma Italian Kitchen Opens on South Lamar

I’ve been griping about the lack of good Italian restaurants in South Austin for some time. Thanks to the folks who opened Aroma Italian Kitchen at 3401 South Lamar, I can shut up for awhile. Getting great feedback (especially on the Gnocchi) on this owner-operated spot near The Broken Spoke. All ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible, and pizza and pastas are the main focus. Owner Dave Whitney managed Threadgills for 14 years but always had a passion for pizza. Hence this store follow all the AVPN Rules for true Neapolitan pizza. Check out their menu at aromaitalian.com.
