Briarcliff Bistro and Bacon Bar: What Some Water Can Do!

I’ve always enjoyed the Briarcliff Bistro and Bacon Bar at 108 Pace Bend S. Their brunches are worth the drive no matter where you live in our sprawling city.

But I was amazed to see the throng of cars there last week. And one of the secrets is that dry ditch [Pedernales] that they overlook isn’t dry anymore. There’s water aplenty and it just looks terrific. What a difference a few months makes.

I am delighted for the Briarcliff owners and for all Lake-related restaurants like the Gnarly Gar that actually sits out on the lake [good for you Todd].
