Café Blue to Open at the Galleria

One of my favorite lakeside joints, Café Blue at Volente Beach off Lake Travis, is about to open a 2nd and more importantly, year-round location. Café Blue at the Galleria will open in early December at the site of the former Wyland’s Ocean Blue at the Galleria in Bee Cave, just down the street from Dillard’s.

The new Café Blue will also feature a raw bar and the talents of Chef Ben Nathan, who was Executive Chef at the Belmont and Chez Zee.

The Café Blue on the lake is not built for year-round use and has always closed once the winter weather set in. So the 2nd location affords the owners and fans of the restaurant a new option!
