Lobster fact: Cold water lobsters have two large claws and a tail. Warm water or rock lobsters have no claws. Surprisingly, the larger cold water lobsters (3-5 lbs ) tend to be more tender than the smaller 1 and 1/2 pounders most restaurants usually serve.
For me, the Maine lobster is unrivaled in taste, but any lobster from New England is a great choice.
