Chicken Padano New to the Menu at The Pizza Cave
I’ve never been a huge fan of marinara sauce over any type of pasta. Perhaps I’d make an exception for the amazing sauce at Rao’s in New York (and Las Vegas), but I tend to opt for the lighter sauces such as those in linguine with clam sauce.
So I’m glad to see that The Pizza Cave on Highway 290 East in Dripping Springs has added a Chicken Padano dish to their menu. It consists of chopped chicken, Roma tomatoes, fresh garlic, basil, mushrooms, and grated Grana Padano cheese with a wine and lemon sauce served over angel hair pasta. (I would imagine that you could also request linguine or penne as well).
Frankly, I can’t wait to try this. Looks like the consistently innovative owner Joe Cave has done it again!
