Crave Opens Downtown at 340 East 2nd (Former Site of Roy’s)

Crave, a smallish national chain featuring steaks and seafood, unique comfort foods reflective of this area, along with a sushi bar, has opened next to Fleming’s downtown at 340 East 2nd Street.

The chain which features restaurants in Nebraska, Minnesota (where it originated), Florida and Ohio is bullish on service and ambiance along with their cuisine. I’ve dined at one before and it was quite good. Roaring Fork alumnus Frank Johnson is helming the kitchen, This fills in a gap in the area that’s been quite glaring since the demise of Roy’s.
