Darryl Wittle to Exit Fleming’s

I recently posted a photo of Fleming’s longtime owner/partner Darryl Wittle on Facebook and Instagram discussing his unique ability to make a chain restaurant feel like a family-owned spot. And then, ironically, I got a call from him this morning.

The message: his current five-year contract (about to expire) would NOT be renewed.

Wittle is one of the best in the hospitality business at what he does so to say I was surprised is an understatement. I wish him the best as do, I’m sure, his many foodie fans. He will be missed.
