Filipino-styled Mang Dedoy’s Opens on Anderson Mill
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten calls on Food Friday on 590 KLBJ asking about Filipino restaurants in Austin. Well, with the January 2nd opening of Meng Dedoy on 8863 Anderson Mill Road, that vacancy has been filled!
Meng Dedoy offers a variety of Fillipino offerings in a casual store-like setting including Lumpia, Tinolang Manok (Chicken Stew), Pork and Chicken Adobo, Pinkabet (Vegetable Stew) and many other items. Sorry, no Balut for those fans of the Travel Channel and Andrew Blauzvern but the place is worth checking out.
