Garbo’s Opens on Bratton Lane
I walked in to the restaurant that was formerly owned by my late friends Yoli and Michael Amr. After several iterations (including That’s Italian), the place is now called Garbo’s, and they whip up the best Lobster Roll this side of Lincolnville, ME.Heidi Garbo started out with a trailer, and now has moved to a brick and mortar on 144 Bratton Lane. Her family owns a lobster exporting company and so Heidi does shellfish. She also serves fried clams and the always popular long-necked Steamers.
But it was the Lobster Roll that really blew me away. Huge chunks of claw and tail in a toasted roll with melted butter drizzled over the better part of a pound of lobster meat. Wow! Did I say wow? And wow again, lest I get redundant.
This is MUST TRY status if you love Maine lobsters.
