Gonzo Gourmet Club has Dinner and a Movie at iPic

Posted by on Aug 11, 2011 in News, Restaurant Events

Our Gonzo Gourmet Club had dinner and a movie at the new iPic (formerly Gold Class Cinema) Theater at the Domain on Tuesday night.

We began with cocktails and appetizers, chatted with Chef Casey, and were extended cordial and competent service from the attentive wait staff.

Then it was into the theater for the screening of the very funny Crazy, Stupid, Love and samplings from iPic’s creative dinner menu. The key to low-lite dining is not only does the food have to be good and immediately identifiable (amazing what a loss of one of the senses will do) but it also needs to be mess-free. So it’s a challenge to craft a menu that is easily accessible and also tasty. But they’ve pulled it off at iPic. This is the way dinner and a movie was meant to be.

The Gonzos had a blast and I have a feeling we’ll be going back for another event in the future. To schedule a group function call Resabeth Davis at (512) 568-3405.
