Houston’s on Anderson to Become “Bartlett’s”

Tim Bartlett, the franchise owner of the popular Austin icon Houston’s Restaurant at Burnet and Anderson has purchased the restaurant from the chain. This has necessitated a name change after many years. The new name as of May 1: Bartlett’s.

I have it on assurance from Tim himself that nothing in the food menu is going to change. The décor may become a little bit “more like Austin” but that’s it. The salads, burgers, ribs, and all the great food that keeps the restaurant on a wait virtually every evening will remain.

So get used to Bartlett’s. And as usual, try to get there early!
