Jack Allen’s Kitchen Looking at Mid-September Opening in Round Rock

Round Rock is getting a culinary present in mid September. Jack Allen’s Kitchen, arguably the most popular restaurant in south Austin will debut it’s 2nd location in restaurant-starved Round Rock. The restaurant will open in what used to be a Bennigan’s off IH-35 along side of Rudy’s BBQ and Chuy’s.

Jack Gillmore has done a remarkable job with his comfort food-themed restaurant in Oak Hill, taking over a location where at least six other restaurants had failed and actually creating waits in a weeknight, something never seen before in that area. This is a big step forward for Round Rock dining. We’ll keep you posted for a precise opening date.
