Mirabelle Sold to Former Chez Zee GM Brian O’Neill

Congratulations to long-time restauranteur Brian O’Neill on his purchase of Michael Vilim’s Mesa Dr. Bistro Mirabelle. The restaurant will close for a week and will reopen with the same Mirabelle name, but with an eye toward French cuisine.

O’Neill, most recently General Manager of Chez Zee, has had a long and successful career in the restaurant industry. His acquisition of Mirabelle is a good fit for Brian, and I look forward to what he’ll do with the place.

Congratulations to Michael Vilim as well. The free-spirited Vilim had a great run at Mirabelle and developed some stellar talent throughout the city. Vilim recently closed his other restaurant Streat on Red River, and the sale of Mirabelle frees him up for new adventures. I wish him the best.
