Pieous Settles into New Digs at Belterra Village off 290
After many nights being crammed in between patrons in line and tables teeming with hungry pizza lovers, Pieous founders Josh and Page Kaner are probably breathing a big sigh of relief to be in their new building at Belterra Village not far down 290 from their original location.
Can’t blame them – the new place is spaciously laid out and has some nice artistic touches to add to the ambiance, as well as an impressive, shiny new oven in the kitchen.
One thing I was pleased to see was the resurgence of the amazing moist pastrami. Lately it been coming out on the dry side but last night’s sandwich was bursting with flavor and was particularly moist. I loved every bite and literally relished each mouthful.
The famous Pieous bacon pizza was as delightful as ever, too, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
By the way, if you haven’t tried their new eggplant bites, by all means do so. They are perfectly breaded and cooked, and totally irresistible!
