Saccone’s Pizza Scores Major Victory at Pizza Expo in Las Vegas

Saccone’s Pizza on Highway 620 in Austin returned victorious from the prestigious Pizza Expo in Las Vegas.

Owner Dan Saccone, a New Jersey native who has delighted Austin pizza lovers for years with his East Coast style pies, won Best Southwest Pizza in the regional competitions and came within an eyelash of finishing in the Top 3 in the national competition.

Saccone’s famous “Signature Sauce” pie has won legions of fans in Austin with the delicate sweetness that characterizes the zesty sauce. Needless to say, the judges in Las Vegas were equally impressed.

The Pizza Expo is one of the largest competitions in the world and victory there speaks volumes about the quality of the pizza and the pizza maker.
