The Gulf Water Is Cold: Time For Oysters
I have always absolutely loved cold water oysters (Malpeques et al.) But those large and succulent Gulf oysters have also been high on my list, particularly when the water temperature is below 60 degrees.
Well, the water temp is pretty cold right now and that means it’s time for a trip to Pacific Star Restaurant & Oyster Bar on Research Boulevard and in Round Rock.
Their Gulf oysters are huge and absolutely delicious. On top of that they are much less expensive than the upscale downtown places where a dozen oysters can set you back as much as $40!
And while you’re slurping those oysters you can graze on a variety of tasty Cajun dishes, too. (Love the Crawfish bites!)
