This Place in Buda???
If you have not yet done so, next time you’re in Buda, head to 214 Main St. and check out Nonna Gina’s Pizza and Pasta. Chef Reno and his crew have really stepped up here. The food is quite good. Start with the Friendship Bread, a flat-bread pie made to be dipped in olive oil, feta cheese, and other goodies. We destroyed it.
The Penne Pasta with sausage, bacon cream and mushrooms is also very tasty yet surprisingly light.
The Nonna Gina’s Pepperoni Pizza is anther good choice. The crust is as it should be, crispy yet chewy and with staying power!
I would not have expected to find a place of this quality in Buda (no offense meant to Buda), but they are open and going on all cylinders. nonnaginas.com
