Trace Opens at the New W Hotel

This is a restaurant that a lot of people have been waiting for because, well, it’s in a W hotel. And a lot of Austinites have been waiting for that.

Trace is helmed by Chef Paul Hargrove and the menu, ranging from Charcuterie to Bouillabaisse looks very interesting. I’m told that all efforts will be made to source locally grown products whenever possible. Also interesting are the price points which appear to be a bit lower than I would have expected. The entrees range from $18 to $34 with only the Beef Duo topping the $30 mark.
