Verdes Opens 2nd Location in Round Rock

Some years ago, a young couple took on a Hamilton Pool Road restaurant site that had a history of failed restaurants (not unlike Jack Gillmore when he opened Jack Allen’s Kitchen in Oak Hill at around the same time). And like Jack, Joel Mungia and his wife were not about to be deterred and turned Verdes into a must-visit Mexican-grill restaurant with a unique twist on Chile Relleno and other popular dishes.

The success of the Hamilton Pool Road location led to a very recent second opening in Round Rock at 2000 South IH-35. Verdes is a great fit for Round Rock, and I’m already getting great early reviews from our readers.
