Wink Hosts Unusual Wine Pairing Event: Chilean & Argentinian Wines & Girl Scout Cookies
I’ve been to my share of wine tastings at Wink Restaurant & Wine Bar over the years. But Sunday, March 31st figures to be one of the more unique ones. In a fund raiser for the Girl Scouts, Mark Paul and his crew will be pouring Chilean and Argentinian wines with Girl Scout cookies.
I found myself musing about my favorite Girl Scout cookies like the Thin Mints and what I’d pair with them. Perhaps a Zinfandel or Rosé? Maybe even a Sherry?
You can find out what wines will pair with what cookies on Sunday. Cost is $35 a ticket, which includes a box of cookies. And hey, it’s to benefit the Girl Scouts. I had two daughters who were scouts as they grew up and it’s a terrific organization.
