Wu Chow Opening About 60 Days Out

Talked to the mercurial CK Chin today about the highly anticipated opening of his Wu Chow restaurant downtown.

In the what-else-is-new category for Austin eateries, the opening, originally targeted for the end of March, will be delayed by about 60 days. If you blame the usual suspects you’d be almost right.

I can’t think of one downtown restaurant in Austin that has opened on schedule.

The good news is that Wu Chow is chugging along and it will open, just not in a few weeks. And I’m expecting it to be great!
