Yu Sushi Izagaya on Colorado Closes

I really enjoyed this little Sushi bar on Colorado next to Cantina Laredo. Since its opening, it was a first class operation. Wonderful maki and sashimi. Could it be that we area simply maxed out with sushi restaurants downtown? Or like so many sushi restaurants, did the high food costs eat into owner Gary Chiuq’s (who also owns Sushi Sake at Gateway mall) budget on a larger basis than he anticipated.

Their last serving was Sunday night, November 15th.
