Zed’s Opens North at Tech Ridge Center

The north part of Austin is rather barren when it comes to neat dining opportunities. A possible solution to that lack of culinary opportunity may have presented itself with the opening of Zed’s at 501 Canyon Ridge Drive in the Tech Ridge Center of North IH-35.

The description of the fare at Zed’s sounds like a cross between Jack Allen’s Kitchen, Moonshine, and Shady Grove. It is Texas comfort fare dressed up and perhaps a bit fancified. But if it can deliver along the lines of the aforementioned classics, then I am all for it and can’t wait to get there. My friend Don King is very excited about it and his instincts are usually very good.
